Acting Against Oppression (also known as AAB ) is a national charity in the UK. The company was founded in 2003 by Louise Burfitt-Dons. The purpose of this charity is to help disrupted children - by giving them secret advice - and to campaign to raise public awareness about the suffering of the victim. The AAB website offers messages and information that support all forms of systematic intimidation, especially psychological intimidation. The site also displays suggestions on current forms of bullying such as intimidation and cyberbullying.

History

In 2000, Louise Burfitt-Dons a playwright (born Louise Byres), published in 2001 a series of 40 anti-bullying monologues called the Law Against Oppression for teachers to use in the classroom because her daughter had been bullied in school, Burfitt-Don is concerned that the current advice given to victims to report such harassment may lead to further abuse. Monologues accurately describe the unconsciousness of newer forms of intimidation and give people insight into what they can do about something with few solutions. "I did not realize what I had started," said Burfitt-Don. The voluntary organization, Act Against Bullying, was formed in 2002 to provide some practical advice on identifying and resolving abuse.

The charity begins to issue advisory leaflets with which, among other things, create profiles and identify the subtle harassment that comes from intimidation with Exceptions to Cause Discomfort based on the deliberate isolation of any community especially in that age world. children/people who have the mental capacity to take abusive actions against others but are not aware of the long-term impact of such actions. More importantly, organizations provide coping tips for adolescent victims. The organization began to withdraw funds and was registered with the Charity Commission in October 2003. The effectiveness of the charity has not been thwarted by all of its volunteer staff and has helped the unimaginable situation where children and their parents work independently through their anti-bullying experience by reviewing the site web Act Against Bullying. AAB was selected for the The Guardian Charity Award 2008.
