Make Me Rich is a Michigan Lottery game show filmed in Detroit, performed by Christopher Knight and Brugh Bunch stars and jointly hosted by Beth McLeod. The show was produced by Jonathan Goodson. Unlike other lottery game shows, the program is aired on a quarterly, not weekly schedule. The first special was aired on October 16th, 2009 at 7:30 pm, without commercial interruption (as with all the next specials).

Contestants must purchase instant lottery tickets to win the chance to compete in the program.

In the first game, three contestants try to win a new car. Each contestant stands in their own path at the end of the "race track," each four steps from the finish line. The names of the contestants are randomly hidden behind the twelve numbered spaces on the board game, each name appearing four times. After calling the number, the player verbally states how much space the player whose name is hidden behind the number will move forward, either one or two spaces. The first player to move the four spaces and cross the finish line won the car.

In the second game, five new contestants participated in a game called "The Eliminator." Each contestant pulls a lever that sends a ball that bounces to the stake as it falls through the shaft, eventually landing in one of eight slots, numbered one through eight. Two contestants whose balls landed in the lowest-numbered slots were eliminated from the game. In the second part of the game, three non-eliminated contestants try to send a "destructive ball" through the area without dropping one of the two columns standing on a rotating platform. The contestants turn their backs on the turntable and release the ball. After the first contestant is omitted, the third column is added to the rotating platform. The contestants continue to take turns releasing the ball. After the second contestant is eliminated, the remaining contestants must successfully swing the ball without dropping the column to win $ 1,000,000. If both contestants drop the column, play as before.

In the third game, four new contestants again play "The Eliminator" to determine two players who will continue to compete for another $ 1,000,000 prize. Two winning contestants draw cards from a special deck consisting of just jack, queen, king and ace. The first contestant presented two cards, one of which was revealed while the other remained face down, and then chose which cards were kept for themselves and which ones would be passed to their opponents. Each of the four cards has the same chance to appear and the same card can appear more than four times in one game, unlike a standard deck of cards. Play an alternative between two contestants and players who make a better four-handed card winning $ 1,000,000. Hands that may include four-of-a-kind, three-of-a-kind, two pairs and one pair; straight is not counted.

The last five contestants compete to win $ 2,000,000. Four contestants were isolated backstage while the first contestant chose a card containing the bar code from the 100 card rack. The bar code is scanned and the numbers between 1 and 100 are revealed; the contestant can either save the number or return the card to the rack and choose the second card to be scanned. After the contestants make their final decision and number is revealed, the next contestant is taken out and follows the same process. However, the current high score numbers are not disclosed to the current contestants until after they decide to store or return their first card; they should base their decisions only on the number they choose first. The process is repeated with the remaining contestants and the highest contestants after the fifth has played a winning $ 2,000,000.

All the contestants who did not win anything on the show received a trip to Mackinac Island and $ 5,000.

Changes

During a special event that aired on February 10, 2010, the car game was removed and the main prize for the game featuring the destructive ball was reduced to $ 500,000. The rewards for the other two games remain the same. On June 4, 2010, the car game returned but the destructive ball game was eliminated.
