The Rage Against the Machine Reunion Tour is a concert tour by Rage Against the Machine 2007-2011. This was the first tour for the band since they broke up in 2000.

History
Rumors that Rage Against the Machine can reunite at the outstanding Music and Art Festival Coachella Valley in mid-January 2007, and confirmed on January 22nd. The band is confirmed to be headlining the last day of Coachella 2007. The reunion was described by Morello as the main vehicle to voice the band's resistance against "right-wing" the United States has "sneaked" under George W. Bush's administration since the dissolution of RATM.
On April 14, 2007, Morello and de la Rocha reunited on the first stage to perform a short acoustic at an Imokalee Workers Coalition meeting in downtown Chicago. Morello described the show as "very interesting to everyone in the room, including myself." This was followed by Coachella's scheduled performance on Sunday, April 29, where the band held a much anticipated show for the largest crowd of festivals. It was originally regarded as a one-time show, which then turned out to be untrue. The band then played four shows at the Hip Hop Rock the Bells festival with Wu Tang Clan, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill, and then an extra night in New York City after the first night sold out in twenty minutes. Rage also played their first non-festival concert in seven years at the Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy, Wisconsin, supported by Queens of the Stone Age in August 2007. The band played a co-headlining venue in New Orleans' Voodoo Music Experience at the end of October and the Vegoose Festival in Las Vegas. These events were the last performances by the band in 2007.
On January 18, 2008, the band played their first show outside the US since their reunion in Auckland, New Zealand as part of the Big Day Out festival series. The band also played 7 shows in Australia including several major events in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth. The band has since continued to tour around the world, headlining many major festivals in Europe and the United States, including Lollapalooza in Chicago. In 2008 the band also played shows in Denver, Colorado and St. Louis. Paul, Minnesota; the location of the Democratic National Convention and the Republican National Convention, respectively.
In December 2008, PremierGuitar.com conducted an interview with Tom Morello and when asked about his plans for 2009 he replied:
"Well, I know for sure that I will be doing a lot of Nightwatchman dating in the coming year and continue the Axis of Justice organization that I run with Serj Tankian.I got a big enough cache of the Nightwatchman song that I have not released yet so I will definitely continue to write and I also have fun playing Rage Against the Machine for a year and a half and I have no doubt that we will continue to do more in the future. "
In 2009, Morello also continued to work with his nonprofit organization, Axis of Justice.
Other legs are added for Europe in 2010. Feet includes dates in the indoor arena, and outdoor festivals. The band also leads the Download Festival at Donington Park, on 12 June. On July 23, Rage performed at a charity concert at the Hollywood Palladium theater in their hometown of Los Angeles, California to protest the Arizona SB 1070 legislation. This was their first US show in 2 years and according to Tom Morello the guitarist would be the only their show in the US for this year. At the end of 2010, they also completed a short tour of 3 South America, including a headline on SWU Music & amp; Art Festival. This is their first time playing on the continent.
Morello stated, the only appearance of Rage for 2011 is the appearance on July 30 at the festival L.A. Rising with El Gran Silencio, Immortal Technique, Lauryn Hill, Rise Against and Muse. Morello hopes that Rage Against the Machine will tour in 2012 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, but this never works.
On July 30, 2013, exactly two years after the original show, was announced on the L.A. Facebook page. Rising that the festival will once again occur in August 2014. Several sources report that Rage Against the Machine will participate in the festival. However, this never happened.
On October 16, 2015, the 2010 show at Finsbury Park was released as a DVD and Blu-ray called Live at Finsbury Park .
Setlist
Throughout the entire reunion tour, the band's setlist is usually of the same structure for every performance. The band played a variety of songs on different shows. In each round of the tour, the band plays a new song and adds it regularly to the setlist. On regular performances, the band will play 14 or 15 songs, including encore.
