God Bless America Again is the nineteenth studio album by American country singer-songwriter Loretta Lynn. It was released on June 5, 1972, by Decca Records. This is Lynn's third album of Gospel and her last album is religious material for over 20 years. Lynn's next gospel album is an independent 1997 release, All Time Gospel Favorites .
The title of this song is written by Bobby Bare and seems to have caused some people wrongly pronouncing this release as a collection of patriotic songs. Mostly composed of new material, the album also includes some famous songs, including "Soft and Soft", "Just Closer to You", and "If God Death (Who Live In My Soul)". Lynn wrote two songs for the album, "Working for God" and "I Pray the Way Out of Difficulty".
