Transgender pregnancy is the incubation of one or more embryos or fetuses by transgender people.
Male pregnancy is alien to mammals, but "the phenomenon is a universal reproductive mode of pipefish, sea horses and sea dragons."

Men assigned at birth do not generally have the anatomy necessary for the development of embryos and natural fetuses. Today, there are no successful cases of uterine transplantation of transgender women. The theoretical problems of ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside the uterine cavity) by implantation in men assigned at birth have been addressed by experts in the field of fertility drugs, who emphasize that the concept of ectopic implantation, while theoretically plausible, has never been attempted. and it will be difficult to justify - even for cisgender women who have no uterus - because of extreme health risks for parents and children.
Robert Winston, an in-vitro fertilization pioneer, told the London Sunday Times that "male pregnancy would be possible" by having an embryo planted in a man's abdomen - with a placenta attached to internal organs such as the intestine - and then delivered through a cesarean section. Implantation of orthopic embryo along the abdominal wall, and the resulting placental growth, however, would be very dangerous and potentially fatal for the host, and therefore impossible to study in humans.

Trans Men
Some transgender men can get pregnant. It is possible for trans men who maintain a functioning ovary and uterus even after physically transitioning to men. Regardless of the treatment of previous hormone replacement therapy, the development of pregnancy and childbirth procedures is usually the same as those who identify as cisgender women. However, trans men who participate in pregnancy often experience a variety of negative social, emotional, and medical experiences, since pregnancy is traditionally regarded as an exclusive feminine or female activity. According to research "Transgender Men Who Have Pregnancy After Women-to-Male Gender Transition" by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, there is a lack of awareness, service, and medical assistance available to pregnant men. Inaccessibility of this service may cause difficulties in finding convenient and supportive services regarding prenatal care, as well as increased risks for unsafe or unhealthy practices. In addition, the study also revealed that some people report having gender dysphagia and feelings of isolation due to drastic changes in appearance occurring during pregnancy, such as enlarged breasts, and due to changes in public acceptance of their gender identity. The researchers also found that previous use of testosterone did not affect pregnancy. The term used to describe the role of men during pregnancy is reported to be the Father, Caregiver, and Gestational Parent who aims to assert the ability of pregnancy to also be a masculine experience.
Matt Rice, a transgender man, gave birth to a son named Blake in October 1999 after a random sperm donation from three male cisgender friends during a relationship with transgender writer Patrick Califia.
Thomas Beatie, another transgender man, has given birth to three children. He chose to get pregnant because his wife Nancy was infertile, doing it with sperm and syringes donated cryogenic, at home. Thomas wrote an article about the experience at The Advocate . The Washington Post broadened its story on March 25 when blogger Emil Steiner called Beatie the first "legally" pregnant man, referring to the state and federal recognition of Beatie as a man. In 2010, Guinness World Records recognized Beatie as "The First Married Man in a Born World". Beatie gave birth to a girl named Susan Juliette Beatie on June 29, 2008. Barbara Walters announced Beatie's second pregnancy at The View, and Beatie gave birth to a boy named Austin Alexander Beatie on June 9, 2009. Beatie gave birth to a child the three, a boy named Jensen James Beatie, on July 25, 2010.
Yuval Topper, an Israeli transgender man, gave birth to a child on December 28, 2011.
