Composition
"Try Again" is a song written by Stephen Garrett and Timothy Mosley, and produced by Timbaland. Timbaland's fuzzy, booming soundscape is influenced by acid house. Yahoo! The music officially known as "Launch" mentions that the sound of the song is associated with Detroit techno. The Aaliyah winding song consists of simple vocal riffs, which are repeated and refracted to echo the manipulated loop that produces digital song rhythms. The chorus line, "If at first you do not succeed, then clean yourself up and try again", is repeated hypnotically in a manner similar to the sampling and vocal manipulation found in house music.
According to Music Records, this song is composed in the C key? minor and arranged in a general timing mark with a tempo of 92 beats per minute, while the Aaliyah vowel range extends from G ? 3 to G ? 4 . In the intro song, Timbaland salute Eric B. & amp; Rakim by tapping the opening verse duo of "I Know You Got Soul".
