" 17 Again " is a song recorded by British pop duo Eurythmics. The song appeared in the 1999 band album, Peace , and was released as the second single from an album in the UK in early 2000.
Peace is the first new album released by Eurythmics in a decade and the lyrics for "17 Again" found this duo recalling about their long-time career in pop music. The song mentions "fake celebrities", "demon queen", "stupid papers and stupid magazines" and makes the conclusion that "beautiful dreams are made of whatever makes you at the scene." The closing of "17 Again" contains the 1983 interpolation "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)".
"17 Again" peaked at number twenty seven on the UK Singles Chart. In the US, none of the promotional remixes are issued for nightclubs. "17 Again" became Eurythmics's first song to reach number one on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.
The song is featured in a four-season episode of the American television series Will & amp; Grace ("Bed, Bath, & Beyond"). It was also featured on season two of the American television series, Charmed , in an episode titled "How to Make Quilt Out of Americans".
