American Paralysis: How to Make Great America Again is a non-fiction book by businessmen and 45th US President Donald Trump, first published in hardcover by Simon & amp; Schuster in 2015. The next revised edition was republished eight months later in a trade paperback format titled Great Again: How to Fix Our Crippled America during the Trump 2016 election campaign. Overall, Trump's book spends 13 weeks on the best seller list Times . According to Nielsen BookScan, Crippled America sold more books published by political candidates in 2016, selling out paperback and 199,000 additional hardcover stocks in March 2016. Trump reported the same year it received between $ 1 million and $ 5 million in revenue from total book sales.
NPR writes that Crippled America "does not really break new ground", and is comparable to other campaign tracks that work "less [as] literary works and more tools politics ". Jeremy Diamond from CNN notes that, similar to the author's campaign speech, the book is written in "Trump's simple trademark prose, peppered with tangents". Although this content is familiar to those who follow his campaign, Diamond explains, it does "give Trump the light, the man, and how he plans to frame the future as he presses his bid for a Republican nomination."
