Life and career
Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, Larratt's interest in armwrestling began in his early teens. After joining the Canadian Special Forces at the age of 21, Larratt was able to train and compete, and he praised the experience gained in different military bases as a big part of his success. In 2013, Larratt underwent surgery on his right arm and elbow, forcing him to compete only with his left hand. He also underwent the same operation on his left elbow in 2016, but recovered much faster then, when he won the WAL with his arm the same year.
Larratt has among others known for beating the John Brzenk armwrestler.
By 2015, Larratt won the title of WAL's Left-Arm Heavyweight (196-225lb). He also occupies the third position in the Right Arm. By 2016, Larratt successfully defended his WAL Left-Arm title, and also won the WAL Right-Arm Heavyweight championship which claimed two "hammers".
