The Mid-Missouri Mavericks is a former small league baseball team playing in Columbia, Missouri, in the United States. This team is an independent Frontier League member, and has no relationship with the Major League Baseball team. From 2003 to 2005 the team plays at Taylor Stadium, the home field of today's University of Missouri baseball team. The team halted operations during the 2006 season to pursue financing and construction of the new stadium. The suspension of operations was then extended through the 2007, 2008 and 2009 seasons after the bankruptcy of the main owner, Bradley Wendt.
